Have you met… Daltix?

Have you met Daltix already? This kick-ass startup gathers business analytics, automation, tool development, user experience and artificial intelligence for their cause. With this impressive combo, they want to help companies achieve a competitive advantage in their e-commerce market – whilst using a personalized approach. Simply put: Daltix monitors the process of your competitors’ e-commerce website, and matches them to your products.

And today, you can meet the founders!

First of all,… why did you apply for Start it @kbc?

Well, at the beginning, we were just two friends working on a project. Just, because we liked doing it – we had fun with it. And because we loved this project so much, we decided to take our idea to Start it @kbc: we wanted to see if our business model was valuable…

We immediately got attracted to the unique startup atmosphere, where we continuously saw people just going for it. This only motivated us more in our choice to do exactly the same thing, which turned out to be an excellent one…. Because before we knew it, we got in! For us, this was definitely the sign we were waiting for. We both quit our jobs – and went for it fulltime!

And now?

In the meantime, we’ve received grants from the Flemish government and we’ve won our first customers. So yeah: things are definitely going well. Which is awesome, because that means our family isn’t that scared for failure anymore! (laughs)

At the beginning, being a startup entrepreneur, you really have to cross this mental bridge: because after all, you’re taking a big risk! But when that raw idea gets more detailed, more complicated and more down to where it needs to be… It’s so worth it.

What are your biggest hopes?

Of course, we’re hoping to get more and more Belgian customers, and perhaps – in a couple of years – some foreign customers, too! We really want to become a relevant European player in the e-commerce market. That’s definitely our (relatively) short-term vision!

Thanks, guys!
